It's absolutely possible to not have any...in fact, spotting for implantation is more of a rarity, though it's spoken about frequently here. In 2 pregnancies, I've not had it...yet I've heard of women who had it in all pregnancies.
I think it's more "normal" to NOT have it especially since NOT having a menstrual cycle is sign #1 you are pregnant for many, spotting throws a lot of women off.

From what I read it only happens 1/4 pregnancies. I did have it... but I know my sister didnt.....

It occurs in about 30% of pregnancies, so its actually more common NOT to have it.
