Anyone ever go to Belgium?
We are looking into Belgium for a winter trip since our anniversary trip to Scotland didn't happen (the price skyrocketted!)
Anyone ever go to Belgium? What is a "must do"?

Drink lots and lots of beer. 
Go to Brugge and Belgium.
Have mussels and french fries.
Find Mannekin Pis (and laugh) in Belgium.
Eat chocolate.
FYI, we went to Brussels/Brugge last Feb and it was COLD.

I have been to Brugge via Brussels-- when I backpacked through Europe after college. It was beautiful. I'd love to go back someday.
Can't tell you where to stay cause we stayed at a hostel-- but, the town was so pretty, gorgeous town sq and churches, and canals.

I was there long enough to get some Belgium waffles and walk around a bit (in transit from Amsterdam to London I think). Seemed like a beautiful country - have fun!

i went to Brussels for a day and a half. i have to admit we (group of friends i was travelling with at the time) got so drunk that i do not recall much. the beer is awesome (the kasteel beer is 11%, so look at the alcohol content in the beer, i think this is a reason we got so drunk from 3 beers) and so is the chocolate. if you like seafood, make sure you eat some mussels.
