I hate stockings, have never worn fishnets, but wear tights when the weather gets cool. I actually need to look for some maternity tights so I can wear some skirts.

All of the above! TIghts (opaque) are great with cropped wool pants...because they're showing them with shoes now...not just boots. I wear fishnets with longer skirts, dress pants, etc.
I have some tights with paterns, too. None of my skirts are above the knee, but I'd like to buy a wool mini and pair with tights.

I only wear fishnets with a below the knee skirt and high boots so about 2 inches of skin are actually flashed.
I hate stockings and tights are very in this season, so tights it will be for me.

Same for me. Love patterned tights...I think tights will always be in.

I've been surprised by all the fishnet talk on here too!!
They would never have crossed my mind - I didn't even think you could get them anywhere except Fredricks of Hollywood 
I think I've been even more stunned by the fishnet"sock" talk because I've never heard of them!
I own stockings but only wear when completely necessary. And I'm glad footless tights (or what some places are billing as capri tights) are around again because I prefer to wear them with a sock under boots (I think I feel less restricted when it's not all one piece ... and sometimes a boot needs something thicker than a tight/stocking in the foot).

opaque or fishnets- i love the nude colored fishnets actually
i hate stocking and will not wear them even if its 5 degrees outside
eta marshalls nad tj maxx sell fishnets - thats where i bought mine- they look cutw wuth a skirt past the knee and a conservative type top
that is the only way to pull them off- also under boots looks cute when you see the fishnet pattern on your knee
but i wound never wear them with short skirts or anything remotely provocative. its for very conservative outfits only
