the only item I splurge on is a bag. I would say 1-2 times a yr.

Once or twice a year. I bought an LV bag that cost about $600 last year when I got a bonus at work....
Then DH bought me a Burberry tote with the pegasus on it, which was a pleasant, surprise splurge item....so about twice a year.
