Metformin Users......How much

is your prescription for 30 days?

I am asking b/c I haven't filled mine and I just learned on the news today that walmart (in Texas) is now doing the $4 prescription. Most are generic; however, Metformin is on the list!

I wonder how this is going to effect all the pharamists? Some say Walmart is monopolyzing and others say that this is going to be a new trend.

I just had to pay a $10 co-pay for a one month supply. I didn't think that was bad at all. But if I could get it for $4, that would have been better......maybe next month.

I didnt think it was that expensive. I went ahead and got mine through Walmart since it is only a few blocks away. I also heard that Target is matching Walmart's price. I wonder if it is only here in TX.
