Mat for under dog dishes

Our new house has wood floors in the kitchen - we need to get a mat for under Casey's dishes - any recommendations of where I can find one or order one from?

We got our new one at Petco and it is really nice and does not move around at all.

Re: Mat for under dog dishes

We got one at Petsmart - the same that someone just posted, but the one I really love is a rug one - shaped like a bone - it's so cute. Its the same texture as a thick woven rug. Multicolored. I might go back to the craft fair this weekend and if they have them I will get one for you and mail it - I think it was around $15 - lemme know Chat Icon

Re: Mat for under dog dishes

I got one from Target that has a lip around it (about an inch) so that if the food goes out of her bowl she can get it easily, plus the floor doesn't get gacked up.

I forgot to mention - Casey bowls are huge - and she is a sloppy drinker Chat Icon Chat Icon

I don't think she was created with the functionality to lick her jowls when she is done - it all drains out of her mouth Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Mat for under dog dishes

I bought these for our two dogs...I put them side by side and they LOVE them. Saves them from the "strain" of bending over to eat and saves you from having to worry about the bowls sliding all over and making a mess.

Dog Trays from Orvis

Also, the great thing about Orvis is if ANYTHING goes wrong with any of their products...you can return them for either a full refund or exchange (no questions asked)....we've been through 4 $200 dog beds b/c my lab either chewed them to pieces or peed on them. Orvis really is a great company.

Good luck!

ETA: I'm sure you can also find similar products for a lot cheaper elsewhere....I didn't realize how expensive these were (we have a friend who owns an Orvis store, so we received everything at a decent discount)
