Re: Tipping at All Inclusives

We tipped when we went to Aruba.
We also just left $3-4 when we ate, we felt funny just getting up and not leaving anything.

Re: Tipping at All Inclusives

When we were at Breezes they didn't accept tips- in fact they can be fired if caught accepting a tip. But when we've gone to other AI we will usually tip the bartenders about $5 a day and I always tip the maids, whether AI or not, $2 a day. In the poorer countries I also bring gifts from the dollar store and leave those in addition to the money. I bring hair clips, candy, coloring books and crayons, toys, notebooks, etc...

We're staying at an all inclusive in Punta Cana, and our travel agent said that there is no tipping allowed. It is included in the rate.

Re: Tipping at All Inclusives

all inclusives we have been too has been no tipping...but on our HM which was a 5 star resort, they told us tipping was not necessary, but we could tip if a staff member exceeded our expectations...we ended us tipping a few waitors and the bell boy, they totally deserved it!
