Keith Urban Checks Into Rehab
This is sad!

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman

Country singer Keith Urban checked into a rehab center Thursday night with wife Nicole Kidman by his side, according to a statement from his rep.
"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Urban says in the statement. "One can never let one's guard down on recovery and I'm afraid that I have. With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome."
The statement adds that all of Urban's immediate appearances promoting his forthcoming CD will be postponed.

My question is .... if your SO had a problem with drugs/alcohol and they went to a rehab center --- would you leave them? I wouldn't leave my DH..... I'd stick by them and give them the support that he needed to get through this...
So it doesn't necessarily mean that she's fallen into a situation with a bad guy again .... she can stick by them and it could make their relationship stronger...

I don't think I would leave my DH, but I think in time it would end up being the end of our relationship. My sister had a huge coke problem when I was younger, so I've been down that road and have no intentions to go down it again. I have stopped being friends with people over it as a measure of self preservation. And DH knows all of this- so if he developed an addiction it would be hard for me to forgive in the long run.

I don't look at this as sad....
I think that it is wonderful that he is taking responsibility for his addiction and hopefully this will be the end of it
although this isn't the first time he has been in rehab....so who knows
BUT i do think she was smart about having that clause in the pre-nup...
She may stand by him this time....maybe the next time
but there is only sooo many times a person can stand next to them ...
