What to have for lunch?
I usually bring a turkey sandwich for lunch everyday. I'm at a loss as to what to bring now! What works for you??

Re: What to have for lunch?
Can you make chicken cutlets the night before and heat them up with some corn or broccoli on the side?
ETA: PB&J Bagel with Melted Cheese Pasta Pizza

Re: What to have for lunch?
I'm all about soup right now. Ramen noodles, clam chowder, those little soup at hand things.
Also PB&J and sometimes, if I'm really really hungry, I get a cheeseburger.

Re: What to have for lunch?
I bring leftovers from dinner the night before, so it can be anything- usually chicken and some sort of side.
Also, I make sauce every week, so I bring a lot of pasta- sometimes penne with turkey meatballs, sometimes ravioli or tortellini, sometimes shells with cheese. I try to vary it and luckily I love tomato sauce. It's also quick and easy, especially if there's nothing left from dinner.

Re: What to have for lunch?
Is soup okay to have since they are so high in sodium?
How about salads? What else do people recommend - bringing lunch is hard - people eat others food out of our fridge.

ew!
I just go home, but I work 5 minutes away! I was really into Panera...until I realized I can't eat feta cheese and I went solely for the greek salad. I do rec. salads to a point....throw TONS of stuff on it so it's more than just lettuce and you get lots of veggies...but for other reasons I rec. a salad rather frequently so you can help keep things moving. I try to eat one at some point every 2-3 days at least.

This is what I eat most days with chicken, chickpeas, and veggies, no cheese. That is okay to eat correct?

I suppose! I mean, as long as you aren't living at McDonald's, most everything is FINE. Some things will trigger additional gas...broccoli comes to mind. The things you shouldn't eat are mainly b/c of how they're made...it's always better [of course] to eat as much FRESH food as possible. Now I'm hungry....thanks a lot christine!

Re: What to have for lunch?
Is turkey not a good thing to eat? What if it is low fat? Are all cold cuts bad?
