What does everyone do to keep themselves "up"?
I have been so depressed lately and getting to the point where I just want to stop all together. What do you ladies do to keep from getting so down?

Re: What does everyone do to keep themselves "up"?
I take a break from temping sometimes, like this month I havent been doing it as regularly. I also go out with DH down to the water and get italian ices. I garden. Sometimes I'll go buy myself something...like last weekend I bought myself a new Coach bag I clean the house...go out with friends. Anything to take my mind off things. I find that sometimes I need to take a couple day break from LIF too because its just too much for me. I had to do that this month because after we got the BFN I was so upset. Believe it or not, a couple of days off LIF and not thinking about TTC was exactly what I needed. Then I came back here when I was ready and I feel ready to face this cycle of IUI.
I hope you are ok

Re: What does everyone do to keep themselves "up"?
Like Kathy said, I take breaks from LIF, don't do any research, go on any pregnancy/concepption websites. We also just dont' talk about TTC and try to enjoy doing other things we couldn't do if we were trying.
It's so hard especially when you want something so bad. Disappointment month after month can hit hard, at least it did for me
Hey take Oliver for some long walks with Dh and just let it all out! I sure Oliver needs a hug sometimes too..
Morgan I hope everything is okay, FM me if you need to vent/chat

Same here - a couple days away from LIF or anything TTC related.
This month I was just about to give up when I finally got my surge. I was really really down.
I give myself little "projects" at home, like organizing photos or my basement or learning to crochet. Anything to keep my brain busy.
Hang in there!!

Re: What does everyone do to keep themselves "up"?
I have been trying to keep myself busy. I have been scanning all of my wedding pictures, going through all things that I have so that I might be able to sell them on ebay. Also what takes up alot of my time is looking for a job. I also take the puppy outside for a couple of hours to keep us BOTH busy.
Let me know if you need to talk!

Thank you all! I really appreciate your thoughtfulness with your responses. It has just been a really tough few weeks for me and DH really just doesn't get it so he thinks I'm a bit crazy.

Unless I was home all the time, I don't think I could spoil Oliver any more then I do. His new spot is to lay right on top of me and I end up feeling guilty when I have to get up!

I hope you're feeling better
I usually do things that I know I won't be able once preggo - DH and I go out for sushi, have a couple of drinks, etc.

Re: What does everyone do to keep themselves "up"?
I travel....even if it is just for a weekend get-away, I try to do things I wouldn't be doing if I were pg (last time I was on bed rest).
And order wine with dinner!
