New Here...and I have a Question
Hi everyone., I am new here..i look forward to chatting with you during this process....
Okay my question is...
Me and DH are planning on starting TTC next month or the month afterwards. My question to you all is this...according to my cycle i will be ovulating 2 days before we leave for a one week vacation. On the trip would it be okay to have alcohol? I was thinking of putting off the TTC till October if this is going to be an issue...not sure what to do. Thanks for any adivce you can give me.

Yes would say its fine to drink while you're on vacation. I always do in the 2ww...within reason, you know? I'm not out getting trashed every night

2 ww=week wait. As far as drinking goes, that's sort of a personal decision. There really isn't substational evidence that says you can not drink alcohol in your 2ww. However, I just don't. I used to, but I decided, I can't anymore. The way I look at it is, alcohol changes things in your body, and any sudden change in your body can throw things off. So I just don't drink. But, you are just starting out and you have a terrific vacation to look forward to, I wouldn't put off ttc because of it. Enjoy yourself and have a drink for me :)

I would have some drinks during the 2ww. The only think I didn't take was Motrin/Advil/Alieve. I just treated it like any other day...

I believe doctors say that it's ok to drink during the 2ww because food/drink intake doesn't start to reach/affect the embryo until you know AF is late.
