Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
I go for my second appt tomorrow and I have been like so nervous about this pregnancy. I think because I already told so many people I am scared of something going wrong. My friend told me sometimes this happens because all of a sudden your feeling better, like not pregnant anymore and your not yet showing and it's just this in between stage. I just can't wait to hear that heartbeat tomorrow!!!!

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
I don't know of anyone who was NOT scared or apprehensive in the beginning. Enjoy it and everything should be fine. Good luck at the appointment!!

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
Of course!! I didn't even really tell people until my 20 week sonogram. I felt really good at first and I was worried about that to. Now I have a healthy beautiful 6 month old baby girl.

I was nervous before every appointment! It's only natural to want to be assured that everything is okay... what you're feeling is completely normal!!

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
I feel that way also.... last week the Dr. confirmed the PG (6 weeks). Now I have to wait 2 weeks to go back for the sono when you can actually see the baby.
I keep praying for November to fly by....

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
I will be 6 weeks tomorrow and I am beyond nervous and scared. For me, the fear of miscarriage is just so overwhelming, I just wish I could relax and enjoy this. I have my first appt in 2 weeks and time cannot be moving any slower!!!

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
I was always anxious when I would go to doctor. Once I heard the heat beat I was ok. It was like that until I could feel DS move. I think it is natural to feel that way.

I get very scared at times. I think it has to do with all of the changes we're going through now and all of the changes yet to come.

Wow, thanks ladies, I am glad to know I am not alone. We'll find out how the munchkin is doing tonight at the 1 or 12 week visit, not quite sure where I am.

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
Yup - I'm going for my level 2 in a couple of weeks, and although I'm loking forward to seeing the baby again on screen, I'm worried because its also a time they look for problems - but hey - I made it this far ok, I'm asuming things will continue to be ok!!!

Re: Was anyone else nervous or scared in the beginning
Absolutely!
Scared in the beginning because you worry that something might go wrong.
Scared in the middle because you start to get overwhelmed with how life will change.
Scared at the end because let's face it, labor and delivery are scary!
