So the '80's came back...
...the 60's, the 70's...all came back in one way or another... what will fashion do when it catches up to itself? Will they finally (gasp!) have to come up with something original? Do we really HAVE to go through the 90's again before that happens?

I know I have been wondering the same thing.... The fact that the 80s is in is a little weird to me - I see people on the runway wearing outfits I wore when I was 5!

Exactly! And it's moving fast so eventually we'll catch up to ourselves... then what?
I say bring the '20's back - flapper dresses!
And going by what they used to tell us in school...weren't we supposed be wearing metallic colored space suits by now?

Anything from the 20's-40's works for me. I just can't buy styles I had in Jr. high! I just can't!! and the 90's coming back- i just can't see it.
I also don't know how I would incorporate my big plaid flanner shirts from the 90's into my work attire. I don't think the grunge lawyer look would go over so well at the office

The 80's have been back in one way or another since 2000 or so. I know I'm alone in this but I LOVE THE 80'S so I'm happy. I really enjoyed wearing my oversized sweater and boots yesterday. And DH liked it too so that's all that matters to me. 
When the 90's come back (which I expect to see creeping onto the runways within the next 5 years) I'll have nothing to wear because I just can't see myself wearing flannels ever again and I'll be waaay too old to rock babydoll dresses!

Um What should I say when I was 15 in the 80s. 
Going to the Awesome 80s prom was just like a flashback!
As far as fashions go, I was fat in high school and did not look good in the fashions back then. Now that I can fit into it, Id look like a jack arse if I tried!

Very weird indeed!! The fact that all I see are clothes that I owned in High School... is definately over the top strange!
