I have a few appointments next weekend and have no clue what to even ask them.

Don't feel silly - it's so routine now! I just called, told them I was PG and that I wanted to make an appt. to speak w/ one of the doctors about their practice.

In my "What to Expect when you're Expecting Pregnancy Organizer" it has a form to fill out. I'll type out all the questions, though some of them feel silly to me. I guess you take the basics and change it for what you think you'll need!!
Interview Notes: Dr.s Name: Address: Phone: Specialty/Training: Hospital Affiliation: Office Hours: Typical Waiting TIme: Call Hours: House Call Policy: Type of Practice: (solo, group, hmo, etc.) If group, will you always see the same doc? Will you have a choice of doc? Is a nurse-practitioner part of practice? How much well-baby care does he/she provide? Who fills in when doctor isn't available? What protocol is followed in emergencies? What protocol is followed with sick children? (eg: seperate office hours, seperate waiting rooms)
Doctor's attitude towards issues you care about" breastfeeding preventative meds circumcision nutrition vegetarianism antibiotic use other
You're observations: Waiting Room Enviornment: Exam Room Enviornment: staff/doctor attitude towards children: staff/doctor attitude towards parents: your comfort with doctor:
Notes:

I hope this helps! Btw, at what point in pregnancy did all of you start interviewing dr's? I'm 31 weeks now and haven't done it yet but I know I should!!!
