They dont have all that many books though, not too many new releases. and for $8.49 a month for 2 books? Thats about the cost of actually purchasing two paperbacks no??

I got the 4 books for 14.00. Its 4 books at a time, but you send it back and get new ones, no monthly limit. I found a few already on the list. I can't afford to buy books anymore.

How are the libraries down in NC? You can get your books for free there. usually to get new books you have to reserve, but it's so worth it. (can you tell I'm a librarian  )

I'm a librarian too, and was going to suggest the same thing!!! I've been to a few libraries in the Charlotte area and they're really beautiful!!!!

Thats good then. I cant read 4 in a month...LOL
I still think its a little expensive for paperbacks, but a great idea for sure.

I used to do Booksfree, and I loved the convenience factor. I stopped because I wasn't reading as much. Now my new obsession is www.paperbackswap.com. I have mailed and received over 100 books on this site.

I just joined booksfree and i like it. My problem was I would go to the library and forget to return the books so I would end up with 20-30 in late fees every time I know horrible. I like that I can keep them as long as I want and it def. ended up to be cheaper for me.

Yep -its the same. I have sent out a bunch of books in the last two weeks but havent gotten any of mine yet. It's also a great way to get rid of some old books you dont want anymore. I listed some thinking no one would ever request them and they have!

i am addicted to my library. with a nassau county library card you can use any library in nassau...and you can reserve your books online and just pick them up when they call you...and best of all...its free
