celebrity designers
Is it just me, or is anyone else turned off by celebrity designers. I may look at something and like it, but if I see the lable says "J.Lo" or "Jessica Simpson" or L.A.M.B., I'm not likely to get it.

Out of most celeb designers, I think I'd be most inclined to buy L.A.M.B.... I feel like Gwen might actually play a hand in designing the stuff she sells unlike some other celebs who just put their name on a product. KWIM?

Totally agree.
I'm completely turned off and will not buy their stuff even if I like it once I see their name on it. Why? Because I feel like I'm falling for a gimmick if I do.

i buy what fits well. don't think i have ever bought a "celebrity" item but not to say that i wouldn't either. again depends on style and fit. if i like it, i'll buy it.

I don't mind celebrity designers if I like the celebrity - but I don't like any of the ones that have decided to go into fashion....
although  I have picked up a few pair of Jessica Simpson shoes b.c I liked them, but them put them down when I found out who designed them
