What would you do? (sorry, a little long)

My back went out yesterday and I was literally doubled over and I realized right then and there that I am the heaviest I have ever been and if my back is bothering my now, what's going to happen when I actually get pg. Then we have had a lot of problems with his daughter and ex, I mean major stress. So I was thinking last night and although I love my dh he doesnt want to help me me to make this decision. I want to wait with the injectables. I dont feel at this weight, with the stress of the holidays, the stress of his ex (that is always this time of year), and the fact that we are going to have his daughter every wknd for the next few months (the ex has a new bf) is a good time to start the injectables, but I think its a great time to start a diet and walking and take the next couple of months and work on me. I hesitate because I am going to be 41 in January but whether or not I do this I will still be 41 in Jan.

I am so confused.

Sounds like you want to take some time to take care of yourself. I think you should go with your instinct. Your mental health is so important.

Take your time for yourself. It's not going to do you any good to try while you are stressed out.
Honestly, don't put too much emphasis on the weight loss though...I have been trying to drop 30 pounds for six months and my weight is EXACTLY the same. I am still going ahead with IVF at this point, but I am just suggesting that you do this for your mental well being mostly.
