real estate agents

hello all! I was wondering if there were any real estate agents on here and if so how do you like it? I am thinking about taking the class in hauppauge to become a RA. Any info would be great! thanks!

i love my job! i get the freedom to make my own schedule and work from home!

but here's my advice to you...pick a VERY supportive broker! if you dont get proper training you will drown! something like 75% of agents who become licensed give up in the first 6 months. this business is for people who are self motivated and enjoy taking the initiative. warning: this is a cut throat field and not for the light of heart. the first few months it will be alot of knocking on your neighbors doors, farming, mailings, phone calls (that's the worst you get hung up on about 99% of the time). make sure you tell EVERYONE you know that you are gonna be a licensed realtor because the majority of your leads will come from referrals.
