Cookbooks: Which one do you have?
I only have Lidia's Italian-American Kitchen.
I was thinking of putting one on my Christmas list. Please share your suggestions.

i have a few... i have the classic red and white checkered
"better homes and gardens" one... i also have 2 rachel ray ones ( 30 minute meals #1 and #2) and i also have a crockpot one- "fix it and forget it"...
i LOVE both the rachel ray ones- great simple, easy recipes... and the better crocker is a great one for how to make anything...

oh lord I must have 15 of them, and I have yet to use a single recipe out of any of them! 
ETA: I have the barefoot contessa one... we got it as a gift. I heard it is excellent. maybe I'll dig it out and give it a try

We have two by Good Housekeeping that are great and really tell you how to do everything! We have others too, but those are the ones we use the most.

We have a ton - I lke making up my own recipes loosely based on the recipes in the books.
I have yet to follow an actual coking recipe from any of the books.
Baking is a different story, though, because it's more of a precise "art"

I have too many to ist but my favs are all of Rachel Ray's books and my Betty Crocker Cookbook, it has everything.

I have so many. I have this Lidia one and the Rachael Ray 30 min one too. I don't use any of them though they are way too complicated for me

I love the Moosewood Cookbook one, lots of good veggie recipes, I also like Jamie Oliver, The USA Cookbook by Sheila Lukins. Nigella Lawson's books are also pretty good.
I use cookbooks and cookery programmes mainly for inspiration, I do make up my own recipes a lot.

I have SOO many cookbooks .... but the two that I use the most are my Betty Crocker Bridal addition and my Mrs. Fields cookies...
