Daushaund (sp?) breeder
I never ask these questions because I usually just Google the breeds club in america but I couldnt find one. My co-worker wants to get a puppy for his son.

I posted info for another girl on here...you probably can't find it because it's spelled dachsund...
The dachsund (pronounced däks'hunt') has really short legs and a long snout. They're pretty popular...here are dachsunds on petfinder.

Try searching the AKC website for dachsund breeders, make sure it's spelled correctly so that you get the best searches on google (if you're going that route).
Also, look for rescue organizations, sometimes they have puppies.

It is spelled dachshund. I have one!!! If you post on either of these boards, there are lot of people involved in rescue, who may have ideas as to where you can get one without giving money to a puppy mill:

Rescuers do get puppies, too, sometimes!
I love love love my dachshund. You can see his photos on my LIW profile. I just want to warn you though, dachshunds can be a handful. They're mischievous and prone to back problems. Some are shy, some are aggressive. This is my 2nd dachshund. Most dachshund people become dachshund addicts.
