So Matthew made his very first...
Feeding mess...LOL I know there will be millions more to come...
But this was the first time he knocked the bowl out of my hands. I had him sitting on the bed last night feeding him cereal and since his hands are always swinging around, he ends up knocking the bowl out of my hands. There was cereal all over his legs, socks, and the bed.
So what do you do when this happens and half the meal ends up all over the place. Do you just feed him what is left in the bowl. What if the entire bowl spilled? then what would you do?

Yikes!! LOL We haven't had that happen YET, but I would finish feeding him what is left and see if he was looking for more when it was all gone. I can usually tell if my daughter has had enough or wants more.

On the bed!!!
Don't you have a highchair for him?
--If I was to ever have spillage I would make more - he will still need to eat the same amount.

That's what I was thinking, why feed him on the bed? When this happens I just hope there is enough left that didn't fall out or make more.

Re: So Matthew made his very first...
I feed luka in the high chair. I tried to feed him in the bouncy once and he kicked the spoon out of my house and that was the end of that. He has knocked out the jar out of my hand before but I still fed him.

Feed him in a hiugh chair. If the food dumps out and you cant give it to him, make himmore - why would you not make more? He will be hungry.
