Cribs and Cats!
My daughter is just about ready to go into her crib from her bassinet. The only problem is, if I leave her bedroom door open, our cat thinks that her crib is his personal bed!! Short of closing her bedroom door at night, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advance!!

Shut the door...we shut the door to our baby's room so the cats don't go in. They haven't ever gone in the crib, but I would rather shut the door than risk it!

yeah, sorry to not be of more help, but we too close the door. I don't want the cat or the cat hair in the room and on everything. But we've always kept them out of our bedrooms.

Re: Cribs and Cats!
We also close the door. And lately we have been locking the cats downstairs at night when we sleep b/c they tend to meow right outside her door every morning if we don't.

Re: Cribs and Cats!
we close the door too- but the thing is, my cats are super fat, so we have a gate on her doorway and they can't jump it (either that or they are too lazy to jump it- scary, right?)

Yeah, we have the same problem with one of our cats, one cat is really smart (and thin) and can get through the spindles on the banister or jump over, but the other cat just sits there and meows....she is too fat to do anything other than wait for us!

sooooo glad we're not the only ones who have to do this. Ours have to go up in the attic at night otherwise they do the same thing.
