Clomid side effects/results of your PCT

Started first round of Clomid last Tues. Took day 3-7. They are skipping day 10 bloods since I am going for PCT on Thanksgiving morning and they will do bloods then. As you know PCT checks for quality of CM. Well, I had minor ovarian pain which is normal but then noticed I have a rash on my forehead and my hair is like straw. So now I am paranoid that these “drying” like side effects will mean my CM is dry. Anyone else experience this and what were your PCT results? I read only 1% experience the rashes and dry hair…ugh.

Awwww...so sorry you're experiencing this! I'm on Clomid and so far no side effects. I DO take the generic though, I don't know if that makes a difference. However, as relates to CM, I'm sure everything will be fine. Although these meds have side effects sometimes, they are given because they do work like they're supposed to as far as reproduction is concerned. Try not to worry. Keep us updated! Chat Icon

I haven't experienced these side effects. Maybe when you see your RE you can ask for options. Are you doing IUI? I highly suggest this if you have CM issues.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

A possible side effect of Clomid is the drying of cervical mucus. You should talk to your dr - there are things they can do to try to help combat that problem.

Good luck!
