Tom Serenades Katie at their wedding
For Tom Cruise, words weren't enough to express his feelings for Katie Holmes. He had to do it in song -- and a familiar one at that.
When, L.A. deejay Mark Ronson played the Righteous Brothers tune "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" during the reception for the couple's wedding, Cruise serenaded his bride by singing along with the record.
"She was completely touched -- laughing, loving him and enjoying him," guest Leah Remini tells PEOPLE.
Cruise's impromptu serenade, of course, hearkens back to his performance of the same song in Top Gun. In the movie his character, Maverick, attempted to woo Kelly McGillis with the song. As for Katie, her heart already belongs to Tom.

just seems stupid to sing a song about LOSING that loving feeling on your WEDDING DAY
yes i know it was to parody his top gun role
But i have always been the tyep of person who is big on lyrics for songs at weddings
Your Lost that Loving Feeling...well seems a tad odd to be singing at a wedding IMO
Just like i didn't get when people danced to "i will always love you" at weddings

But i have always been the tyep of person who is big on lyrics for songs at weddings

I hear ya, Red, but I just think that's him tooting his horn. Back when he was uh, normal, women loved him and that song was really connected to him being sexy and all that...I think he thought he was being cool and sexy at the same time. And flattering Katie.

actually, she's 28. I didn't know that... I thought she was in her early 20's. so that would have made her barbie doll age

I can't stomach this man! Along with losing that loving feelin'..he's lost his mind.
I remember reading that during a Christmas party, Tom got up in front of everyone and recited a poem he wrote for his wife Nicole Kidman-praising her,gushing & spilling over with adoration..then filed for a divorce @ a month later
Maybe he just has to be the center of attention at parties?
