Didn’t Ripa Say She’d Never Put Her Hands on Somebody’s Face?!
These screencaps were taken on October 30th of this year and show Ripa putting her fingers in her mouth and slathering them all over Regis. Hmm…she doesn’t seem to mind. Stupid slag.

It does look like she's putting eye drops in his eye. Her hands are all over his face though and she's practically breathing on him, looks like she wasn't too worried about flu season that day.

Just a thought, but imagine this - you and DH/SO (even maybe just best friend) are doing something and he puts his hand over your mouth or on your face. Do you pitch a fit?
BUT, imagine a coworker, someone you don't know particularly well does it - same response? Wouldn't maybe gross you out a little more? Especially if it was done in front of other people to "shut you up?"
Regis is her close friend, she's with him all the time. Clay is basically random guy in this instance.
I STILL cannot see how people can say that saying "I don't know where that hand has been" is a homophobic comment.

I see nothing wrong with this.
First of all, she was conducting an interview when Clay did that, and it was just plain rude!
And I think it's a little different if she touches Regis. They are very close, and she doesn't know Clay from a hole in the wall.

I also think what he did was rude! I'd be VERY annoyed if someone I barely know covered my mouth to shut me up. When she first made the comment about not knowing where his hands had been, it didn't even cross my mind that it was a homophobic comment. I'd probably say the same thing to someone I hardly knew if they did that to me.
To top it off, Rosie is just so annoying. She should mind her own business!

I agree.....plus...when I heard the comment I was thinking something else....something I would say to any male that touches me unexpectantly!

agreed.... my best friend putting their hand on my face is a big difference then someone i know from a hole in the wall doing it
