OMG this is BAD - She should have stuck to being a spice girl

Baby Spice has a new single and by “new” I mean a cover song of “Downtown.” It’s truly awful and I’m not sure why she’s doing it. The video is also perplexing. She’s some maid in a hotel and everytime she sings the “Downtown” part she points to her chocha. Is she trying to make this beloved classic, naughty? No, she’s not that smart. Doesn’t she kind of look like Twiggy? I’m not talking about young Twiggy either, I’m not talking about old Twiggy. LINK

Its the annual "Children in Need" Charity single, someone does it every year, its quite an honor to be doing it. It raises millions of pounds for children in the UK who are in need, its a very good cause. It will probably go to No 1 in the charts here because people all over Britain support Children in Need. I believe on Friday night alone they raised something like £18 million.

Also, you mustn't forget that she had several hit singles in the UK and a very successful solo album...so she sells records and probably doesn't care what most of us think!!!

eta...most of the people in the video are British celebs, so the whole thing probably doesn't translate very well...
