I need opinions please...

My lhasa apso Jingles is 9yo and in very good health. Well, ever since we moved into the house every so often he decides to pee in the house and of course its right where my dh has to walk to turn on lights in the am when getting ready for work so this morning was the final straw, he woke me up telling me to go clean it up.

Now, I agree with my dh that we are about to put down new floors throughout the house so this is going to ruin them but he wants me to put him in his crate, which he hasn't been in since he was about 2, during the night and during the day when we are at work.

Our other dog Shadow, is still in a crate and actually we are starting to wean her out of it, so now how can I wean her out of it and start putting the little one back in his. Also, we dont have the room for both crates to stay.

What do I do?

Maybe by re-crating the dog will get the hint and stop doing it. Are you sure theres no medical reason for this? At 9yo I might talk to the vet about it. Sometimes when you move though dogs need like a little REtraining. I know my little one did.

Def go to the vet & make sure there is not a medical problem. If no, then I suggest re-crating. Dogs do not always handle a move well.
