OK, I am BREAKING OUT THE KITCHEN AID MIXER for the 1st time!!!
 OMG! can I get a drum roll!!! 
I almost just broke my hand held mixer making a cheesecake  time to pull out the correct appliance for the 2nd one!

I used mine today for the first time too. I made cheesecake. It's so easy with the kitchenaid mixer. I used to use my Mom's every year. It was nice to finally bake in my own house. I smells so good in my kitchen.

I keep mine out on my counter all the time. I am a Huge baker so I use it at least once a week.

I love mine!! I have just found that it is super-powerful and I usually just mix for half the time that the recipe recommends.

we got it from DH's aunt as a wedding gift. (Fortunoff)
I saw that Target is selling the 4 1/2 qt 300 watt Kitchen Aid tomorrow only for $159! that is a GREAT price!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I wish I had the counter space to keep it out all the time. I can absolutely see myself using this mixer a few times a week for cooking, not just baking.

I used it for the first time when I baked the chocolate cake for Ron and haven't baked anything without it since! It is so awesome. I can't believe I used to mix EVERYTHING by hand!
