Honesty, please

How do you REALLY feel? I am about 24 weeks, and I am thrilled to be pg. But I really feel like crap most of the time. I can not get enough sleep. I feel awful until about noon, I can barely function. I feel dizzy and tired most of the time.

So I am I the only one? I can't wait until my little one gets here, but I just don't feel well! And I don;t hear other pregnant women talking like this, all I hear is how wonderful it is.

So, am I the only one?

I am 12 weeks and feel like that. I keep hoping it will pass. Everyone says it will, but you're further along than I am and you are feeling it. I've been vomiting so much and so often at times that it is driving me crazy! I told DH the other day after vomiting 24 hours straight practically that I just feel like jumping off a bridge! I feel like I'm loosing my mind!

Many Chat Icon 's to you! I know how you feel! I hope it passes!

I'm sure you're not alone.
For me my first trimester felt like you feel now then I had a little reprieve in the middle then about 30 weeks the misery began again.
I have been taken out of work now due to BP issues but I still feel like crap a lot of the time.
Hang in there, everyone tells me that at the end when you hold your baby you forget it all.

I'm 22 weeks today...
The heat is really getting to me, which is causing me to feel really tired- by 4pm I'm ready for a nice nap.Chat Icon
My lower back is having problems, mainly from the work that I do (I stand all day).
I can't fall asleep at night b/c my back hurts so bad.
Other than that I feel great!Chat Icon

Re: Honesty, please

I'm 32 weeks 1 day.

The beginning was bad. I had morning sickness through about 5 1/2 - 6 months. I couldn't leave the house without getting sick.

It hasn't been THAT bad since then, but the heat is horrible. I am trying to stay in the air conditioning, which limits me to the bedroom for most of the day. When I do go outside it's hard to walk around for very long because I feel like I just can't breath with the humidity.

And my choocher hurts really really bad and I do my exercises the Lamaze lady told me to do but it isn't helping. Chat Icon

I felt like cr@p weeks 6-11. Then, surprisingly, I've felt wonderful up until about 32 weeks. Then feeling like cr@p again finally set it. Everyone's pregnancy is different...feel free to complain and still love every minute!Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Honesty, please

At 29 weeks I get tired VERY easily. I try to get so much done & I just don't have the energy. And the swelling of my legs & hands are beginning. And that can get a little painful.

When I was getting sick I told my husband on more then one occasion. "I can't deal with this." In your head you know it will be all worth it because you will have your baby. But, that doesn't help when you can't keep anything down & your body is just exhausted!!!

I hope you all feel good soon!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Honesty, please

I feel the same way. I am 30 weeks and I am getting tired towards the afternoon again. Some nights I fall alseep on the couch by 8:30. I get up at least 3 times a night to go to the bathroom and I wake my self up to roll over because my hips hurt and I can't roll over. I am getting big and I am uncomfortable. I have been pretty uncomfortable the entire pregnancy.

Ok, enough venting....Chat Icon

Re: Honesty, please

You are not alone! I'm just over 13 weeks and most of the time I feel pretty crappy. I'm exhausted because between the pain in my back and constantly having to pee, I get no sleep. I also get the worst migraines I've ever gotten, and although my nausea is better this week than it was 2 weeks ago, it still hasn't gone away yet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm THRILLED to be pregnant, but let's just say the last 13 weeks haven't been easy!

Re: Honesty, please

I'm due next week and I can honestly say that night time trying to sleep is the worst for me. Last night I had to sit up because of the acid reflux and When I did that the baby put his/her feet under my ribs and it hurt..so I would try to turn on my side to alleviate the pain and then I would have terrible burning and acid coming up my throat...then I had to pee every 2 seconds!!! Needless to say I can't sleep AT ALL and that is making me miserable! It's very hard to turn over too, my crotch and belly hurt when I do!

Ah, the joys of pregnancy!

Re: Honesty, please

You are not alone Chat Icon ! I too, am thrilled to be pg...but...

At 27 weeks I'm ready to have this over with already...the heat is just WAY TOO MUCH for me to handle anymore. I can't do anything in it...my feet and hands have been swelling for weeks and sometimes they really hurt me a lot.

The heartburn has not been fun...

Sleeping is not a joy anymore either...I can't get comfortable and I'm up every hour...and

I pee every 5 mintues!
