any ideas for play groups

Hi all, Im new to LI families! So far it seems very helpful ans insightful! Any suggestions .... I have a 7 month old little guy and I am a stay at home mom. Can anyone reccommend a group or organization or way to arrang an play group? I am looking for early socialization and it would be nice to meet other moms. Most of my friends do not have children yet or they work and therefore, aren't available during the weekdays. I live in Ronkonkoma and I am new to the area. I grew up in East Northport. sometimes we have GTGs with the mommies on this site. just keep a watch on the topics. i am sure someone will plan one after all of the holidays.

as far as other play groups, i am joining a music together class. have you looked into them?

Look into Family CFA

They have all sort of classes and activities for Moms and babies. My friend told me about it. Their # is 360-2880 they are right near you in Smithtown.

I am a member of the Moms Club. I love it. There is a calander with playgroups, feild trips, holiday parties, and best of all moms nights out. I live in holbrook and a member of the western brookhaven chapter which includes ronkonkoma. Here is the website:
