Wellness appontment went ...well...well.
OK -- justhad a "wellness" exam with my OB/GYN.... I had never had one with him because I switched to him when I was already pg.
Well he read me the riot act about losing weight and exercising - I told him I've been on WW and lost about 15lbs but he wants blood!!
He also says that I should be able to conceive quickly...that I have a beautiful cervix and my uterus looks healthy as a new born baby!!
He's soo funny!!!
 
(Don't know if I should laugh or jump for joy, obviously!!)

we're in the same boat re: weight. Boosh has been told to lose a considerable amount before TTC'ing, and thus far she has lost 35 lbs, which is very close to goal.
We figure we will do what we can at the start to ensure, as much as possible, a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

OMG 35 lbs????? That is sooo amazing!!
I have so far to go still, but my OB told me not to let that hold me back from TTC, so...... everready bunny, here I come!!

Well I am 39 years old so we can't expect miracles... I can't wait any longer basically, although ideally I would be down another 30 lbs. But I've lost 15 in the past few months so I just have to keep at it.

Congrats on the beautiful cervix and the weight loss... 15 lbs. is still 15 lbs, you'll get there.
I'm still laughing about the "beautiful cervix". Just remember when you have a bad day just say over and over "well, at least I have a beautiful cervix"
