Have you been to Bermuda?
What did you think? Where did you stay? I didn't realize it is only a 2 hour flight from NYC.

LOVED it. Would go back in a minute. We stayed at a little hotel, think it was called Palm Reef or something like that. We flew from JFK to North Carolina then to Bermuda.

Little late on this but yes, we honeymooned in Bermuda.
We stayed at Grotto Bay, which is on the other side of the island from Hamilton, the main shopping area/cruise ship port.
After looking up the small and mid sized places (we didn't want a big hotel), we decided on Cambridge Beaches. But they were booked. So Grotto Bay was second. The all inclusive is a pretty good deal but the wait staff is slow and not as attentive as we thought they would be. I guess that's what you get when their tips are included. Food was ok but not great. Selection was blah.
We got a free transportation pass for the buses and ferries which was ok - but we'd rent a scooter next time. From Hamilton, I think depending on which bus line you took (they all stopped right in front of the resort) it was between 30 and 45 minutes to get back.

Kim, we went a few years back, I don't recommend the cruise (if that's ever an option) because the ocean was really rough going out of NYC :( :( got sick.
When we finally got to Bermuda - it was awesome. There are 2 resorts there - have golf courses, that I remember - and we walked through 2 of them and they were beautiful. I forget the names but they were pretty big and popular, and right on the water.
