side dishes
does any have good ideas for side dishes???
Im so bored of having rice a roni, which has for some reason become a staple in our house

thanks cjb88 - we love tater tots and i loe sweet pot fries but dh is soooo picky - much worse than me!!
we never tried egg noodles though!!

-Roasted Potatoes (buy the baby ones, cut in half and roast for 30-40 minutes at 375)
-Mashed Potatoes
-Potato Croquettes (you use the leftover mashed potatoes, roll small balls of potato in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs and cook in hot oil)
-Green Beans with Garlic and Olive Oil
-Homemade Rice Pilaf (easy to make and much better than rice-a-roni)
-Mini Potato Cakes (just bought these from the supermarket and they were really good, they come in a silver bag)
-Potato Pancakes

Roasted potatoes with Lipton Onion soup mix. Buy the soup mix; the recipe is right on the back. You cannot go wrong with this, trust me; they're delicious (and easy!)
