Re: Coffee Drinkers..

I put them in a freezer because once i grind them, i will also put the coffee back in a freezer in a tupperware.

Re: Coffee Drinkers..

I actually heard - just last week - that putting your coffee in the freezer takes away some of the taste.

Re: Coffee Drinkers..

Coffee beans should be kept in an airtight container (preferably ceramic, glass, or stainless) in a cool, dark place (room temperature but not in direct sunlight).

Beans can be stored long term in the freezer if you must, but it is strongly suggested that they be well sealed and allowed to return to room temperature prior to opening them (avoids the condensation trap).

Coffee stored in the fridge, especially coffee that has already been ground, is at high risk of absorbing moisture and odours. Even if stored in an airtight container you will run the risk of condensation damage every time you open the container.

the Dunkin Donuts bag says not to put them in the freezer. I keep them in a air tight container in my cabinet

we have a tall glass canister that has a vacuum seal, that's where we keep the beans. we use DD's coffee beans and it actually says on the package to not freeze them.

This is correct. Room temp in a sealed container is the best way to store coffee
