Cat Nails?
Simba's nails are long and they hurt! I feel bad he loves to cuddle in my lap and he doesnt mean to, but always scratches, pulls on my shirt..etc. (his nails get caught),. If I go to Petco can they just cut his nails? Not declaw, but cut so when I pet him Im not getting "scratched up?" TIA for your help!

Re: Cat Nails?
I cut my cats nails myself - it is really easy. I do it while they are sleepy! They also make little covers for their nails. They come in different sizes and colors. More or less your krazy glueing them on. They work great on two of my three cats (the one cat chews them off, the others don't even know they are on) I think they are called Soft Paw or Soft Claw
Good Luck!

Re: Cat Nails?
I cut his nails too, when he is laying down or dozing off. At first he is a little resitant, but tolerates it. I only get the tip, because he likes to swat at my dog's face and will scratch him.

Re: Cat Nails?
We cut our 3 cats nails and use softpaws to protect the furniture. It looks like a fake nail glued on but it just sheds when their nail grows, they are great. Check them out Softpaws
