Holiday Potluck Help
Ok girls, every year at work we have a holiday potluck. I work at an educational center and we have students from all over the world, so everyone brings one of their ethnic dishes.
I am the biggest mutt out there and I really don't have any ethnic foods that are meaningful to me. Mom's side is English/German, Dad's side is Polish/Jewish.
What can I make? I always have trouble thinking of something. It has to be something cold or something that can be heated up in the microwave.

Aren't Pierogies Polish? I think you could reheat them in the Microwave. Also, how about Kielbasa (don't know how well that would microwave though).
ETA: I know how you feel, my mom is: Irish/English/French Canadian; my dad is Italian/German, and I married a Greek with a very Greek last name....luckily my maiden name is associated with a chicken dish, so that is my "signature."
