yes it makes complete sense. i lost my mom almost 12 years ago. she missed my college graduation, my wedding, the birth of my two children, and millions of every lil day things i would love to tell her about. and i agree, i get so mad, angry and sad. just wanted you to know, you are not alone.

You're not alone. Every time something good, bad, whatever comes up I relive the fact that she's gone. Congratulations on your house and just know that she's already seen it

I couldn't agree with you more. I got diaganosed with breast cancer 2 months ago at the age of 33. I thought planning my wedding was hard to go trough without my mom. This is even worse.
Everyone wants their mom when they are sick, I don't care how old they are.

I went thru my enagment and wedding with out her
now my brothers wedding, my sisters wedding, graduations, first home purchases- and babies
will all be less happy occassions for my family
even having some small great thing happen isn't as fun when you can't call your Mom
and when something bad happens- forget it- it's a million times worse
most people don't get it-

I know exactly what you mean. I miss my father every single day but it's been unbearable this year since my sister got engaged & married. The same during my engagement/wedding. Neither of us could even stand to be near his brother/our uncle because it just broke our hearts to look at him.

I went thru college graduation, engagement, wedding and now I'm buying a house, all without her. I always miss her, but these are the times when I miss her the most...when some important life event happens. I remember her crying in the hospital, saying that all she wants to do is see me move into my first apartment, get married and have a baby, and how unfair it is that she won't be there.
I completely understand how you feel.

Absolutely!! This response was right on with what I wanted to say..
For me, I have a mom that doesn't want to be invoilved in my life, the woman I miss is my MIL, and my sister.. they were my "moms".. Back to topic.. every good thing that happens make me miss them soo much!!
We just bought our house, my daughter is pulling herself up, and I know that my MIL would eat her up!
hang in there, and know that others are going through it..
