No, I doubt it. But the opposite has been known to be true right before labor starts!

I was constipated and a doctor told me to drink castor oil (nothing else helped at that point) well it tasted  but.....did the trick . The nurse told me that it can also help put you into labor so that night I went into labor ...coincidence?
