Bummed OUT!
I am so bummed out today! I am having IUI tomorrow but I am so hyperstimulated my doctor does not want me to do anything today. So I guess I am really bored! DH went xmas shopping and I couldn't go! But he is shopping for my xmas presents. I guess i am just having a pity party for myself. Well I am done just needed to whine a little. Hope you all are having a good day!

Hello,
I'm confused. I was supposed to trigger and do IUI this weekend, but now my dr. called it off because my e2 level was high and rising fast and I had too many follicles.
My e2 is 2600. Is he being overly cautious. He advised me not to try to get pg on my own, since they think I might o on my own.
Now I am scared I'll hyperstimulate anyway.

Believe me You don't want to hyperstimulate. I did this cycle and now i am on bedrest since wednesday. I think he just being cautious. It depends on how many follicles you have buti hyperstimulated After ovulation so i already had the IUI's. It can be really serious even fatal! SO your doctor is probally doing this to Protect you!

Your doctor is looking out for you. Your levels sound really high and the risk of multiples is probably too high. He will probably tell you to not have sex for the next couple of days. Don't worry too much, sometimes it's part of the learning process. I hyperstimulated a few IUI cycles which they had to cancel.

Thanks. I know I had to cancel.
I just hope I can get right back into it next cycle (no cysts or something like that to prevent it).
My dr. said he'll take it even slower next time and probably monitor me more closely. I guess it is a learning experience for both of us.
But if this happens again next time, I might just go right to IVF.
