Strange question... smoked haddock
Does anyone know where I can buy smoked haddock? I am in Lindenhurst, but am willing to drive to get it. Thanks! --Meaghan

I don't know, but what are you going to make with it? In England Kedgeree is a really traditional Christmas Day breakfast

Re: Strange question... smoked haddock
I was going to make finnan haddie... it's a Scottish dish made from smoked haddock (obviously) and milk, seasonings, etc. I don't care for it, but my husband LOVES it. It's a family recipe. --Meaghan

I think you might be able to go into a Jewish Deli (like a bagel store that does lots of fish) and ask for them or what might be a good substitute...
Finnan Haddie sounds delish! A nice treat for you on Christmas Day!
