How soon
Twins run in my family...so I am just curious...would you be able to tell at the first appointment if you were having twins? Thanks girls!

I found out at my first appointment when we saw 2 heartbeats.... I was 6 weeks along.

Yup, they usually can tell at six weeks, although all you will mostly see are two tiny flashing lights... the size of a tip of a pen on the screen... those are the heartbeats
To give you some indication this is what we saw at 7.5 weeks. Image Attachment(s):

We found out at the first sono as well. The Doctor almost missed it - as he was taking the "wand" out - he caught a glimpse. It was the coolest thing.
