Jen's Worst Fear Comes True

With Angelina Jolie on a PR blitz for her film The Good Shepherd (which included releasing a batch of family photos of her children with Brad Pitt), Jennifer Aniston is having to endure her ex’s public joy with his happy new family. And friends are worried.

When Aniston was still just dealing with the reality of her ex-husband’s new romance, long-time pal Kristin Hahn confided to Vanity Fair in September 2005, “My worst fear is that Jen will have to face them having a baby together, because that would be beyond beyond painful.”

And Aniston, who has said of kids, “Ideally, I’d like to have a couple,” broke down and looked “stabbed in the heart” talking to VF about a rumor of Jolie’s pregnancy.

Now it’s for real – and on the Internet, in print and on TV. "The Shiloh pictures kill Jen,” says one Aniston source of the pricey pictures, which also feature the couple's son, Maddox, 5, and daughter Zahara, 23 months.

Adds a second Aniston source, who says that Aniston was warned that Pitt, 43, and Jolie, 31, would soon release this second round of family pictures: “She is so torn-up about the fact that Brad was able to move on and has a perfect family life with that witch.”

Poor Jen. She was with Brad for SO long (years before they got married) and they were said to be best friends (even Angelina said that), and it must really hurt that he moved on SO quickly and started a new family SO quickly. She lost her husband and her best friend.

I really do feel so badly for her. I know I would be broken up forever if that happened to me.

I agree with everryone here. But at the end of the day, she should tell herself that he wasnt really the person she thought he was if he was able to jump out of their marriage so quickly and into his ready made new life and have a baby....with Angelina Jolie nonetheless. (and BTW, how does one have marriages to Billy Bob Thornton and Brad Pitt - talk about opposite ends of the spectrum!!) I still think he's terribly good looking but I dont care for him as a person anymore since this all happened. In the sense that we as "regular people" actually know any of these people or what actually transpired in their private relationships.

I love Jen, I think she's great, but honestly, I am tired of feeling sorry for her.....

She had a hand in ending her marriage too, I'm convinced. So was Brad supposed to get together with only low-profile people? And if he did, would he not be in the spotlight?

Yes the speediness in which he moved on was a shocker, but what if it was her? Would we keep having this pity party for Brad?

I feel even worse that all these papers are making her the subject of pity. We have all had break ups. We have all moved on. How much worse can it be to have everyone talking about "poor you" - look how happy your ex is.

Let her just deal with it on her own without making it news. I'm sure thats far worse than the fact that her ex has moved on.

I think the papers can will print whatever sells, but none of us know what part they each played in ending their marriage, nor if they still care about it.

No dout it hurts to see a significant other move on particularly if you just broke up with your boyfriend. Do we really know that she's horribly broken up over this? Maybe she thinks Brad is a jerk & that Angelina deserves him.

I hate seeing Jennifer Aniston be portrayed as this generation's "Debbie Reynolds".
