Does anyone have this issue?
At their 9:00 feeding, Bridget and Alanna will not want to lie back down. They eat and are fussy for a couple of hours. Does anyone have this issue?
It's weird because they only act this way from about 9 to 12 and then are okay for the rest of the night.

Re: Does anyone have this issue?
Some babies have a witching hour where all they do is fuss for a few hours. Good Luck, I have no advice since my boys never really did this.

Re: Does anyone have this issue?
Not exactly 9-12 but I have been trying to no avail to have the boys start going to bed after their 7:30/8 feeding and they refuse to be put down. They then proceed to really be up the next three hours. Once they are fed at 10:30/11 they are ready for bed. It stinks because with me being back at work it would be so easier for me to have them sleep 8-5 rather then 11-8. I'm still going to try though!

Re: Does anyone have this issue?
My problem is trying to getthem to stay up a little later than 8pm. Sometimes they go down around 7/8 and then sometimes at 9pm and still wake up at 3 am for that night feeding

Re: Does anyone have this issue?
Yes but I have to say its been getting better! We put one down, she cries - then we pick her up until she falls asleep in our arms, then put her down, then she cries again. It goes on and on - I know what you mean.
Try the pacifier, it definitely helped us! We are still dealing with this some nights. The best thing in our world is the pacifier - that soothes them and we have been putting on their mobile too, that helps a bit.

Re: Does anyone have this issue?
Yes, I definitely have had this issue! We used to feed the boys downstairs andthen bring them upstairs to their cribs. They completely sensed the change of environment and wouldn't sleep and would just cry. We started about 2 1/2 months ago feeding them their last feeding IN the nursery and we have found it to be quite successful at getting them to sleep faster... not sure if you already do this, but if not maybe give it a try!
And that pacifier is heaven-sent. What a brilliant mind that invented them

I am a huge huge fan of the pacifier, but my problem with that is that it falls out of their mouth throughout the night and causes them to wake up.
Which kinds do you use? Maybe i have the wrong pacifiers.

I use NUK (silicone) but I still have that issue when it falls out of their mouths. It's just a developmental thing, I suppose.

Yeah we use the NUK too - but I never had that problem. If it falls out it falls out and they don't seem to notice.
