REpost CM PROBLEM?

I have excellent CM, however it is most stretchy and fertile about 3-4 days before I ovulate. Is this a problem. It says nothing about this in TCOYF. I am on my 7th month and I guess i am grasping at straws here. Anyone else have this problem?

This is probably more of a TTC question as the ladies on here are way beyond CM. If I recall correctly, that sounds about right, though. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you've actively been trying for 7 months maybe you should check back with your OB-GYN.

Thanks for your response. I am sorry if I am posting on the wrong forum but I am just so confused by this whole process. I am 29 and I have a daughter so I thought I would just have another. We have been trying for a year but really actively trying for 7 mos (charting, OPK's, etc). I am now worrying there might be another problem so I tried to research if CM is a cause of infertility but didn't find any info on that.

I guess what I was trying to ask is if having CM too far away from ovulation can cause infertility. Could that be a red flag for some type of disorder?

I don't think so, the only correlation I have heard of is that some women may have "hostile" CM where the CM can actually harm the sperm. Usually post-coital testing can determine that.
