Brownie from a mix
I made some brownies from a mix and they were good, but not as gooey as I would have liked them. If you were me (which you aren't, but don't you wish you were...) how much shorter would you cook them for...ie, how much less long would you let them stay in the oven for...
10 minutes? 5 minutes?
UNDERCOOK...thats the word I was looking for, not much less long. Oh the English language...

I hae no idea - but my favorite brownie mis is from Ghiardelli (spelling?) They are FREAKING amazing and gooey!

Those are the ones that I have...but I baked them for 45 minutes, how long do you do them for?

Use a deeper pan, like a square one. If they are deeper then they come out less well done.

Those are my favorites too. Yummmmyyy!!! We usually cook them approx. 5 minutes less than the box says and they are nice & gooey.

OMG I just tried them this weekend - they came out so good! Everyone wanted the recipe. I felt funny saying it was from a box.
This recipe calls for an 8x8 pan, not the usual 13x9

love these too! def the best mix!
I always use the 8x8 (instead of 13x9) pan no matter what cake/brownie mix I use. It's always comes out fluffier.
I take the brownies out about 5-10 minutes earlier than the time the box suggests.

i make them in a 13x9 and cook 30 minutes then check with toothpick. usually cook for 31 to 32 minutes and gooey. almost make sure you chose fudge like not cake like. less eggs.
