Don't know what to do
Can a 6 month old suddenly become colic?
My baby doesn't stop crying at night. He's been falling asleep for nearly two hours now.
Nothing consoles him-not even me or daddy picking him up.
(Note: He's not sick-well he wasn't as of Fridays doctor visit.) I think he's just (OVER) tired. In 14 hours hes just had two half hour naps.
I don't know what to do.

He did pop two teeth two weeks ago and I thought *that was agony. But this seems worse since I don't know for sure what it is.

Mine is acting funny too. He has 2 front teeth. Now he doesn't want to eat as much. He cries after 2 ounces and after I burp he still doesn't want it. When he does take some more milk he cries. He sucks then cries. So maybe it's teething again...

Colic is usually earlier - at least from the colicky babies I've seen...like about 6 weeks. I thought colic is supposed to stop about 3 months.
I agree that it's probably teething or maybe other issues - ear infection?

Could be teething, from what everyone told me the tops can be worse! Hope he's back to himself soon!

Definitely sounds like teething.
Could he be getting a cold? That kept Jordana up last night. When she is stuffy she has a hard time sleeping.

Awe - sounds like teething to me or an ear infection... both usually cause pain when laying down... Can you prop his mattress up a bit so that he's not lying flat and so the pressure won't be as bad? My son always slept on an incline and we never really had problems in the mid of the night - of course there were those occassions... anyway, give it another night or two and if you're still worried, there's nothing wrong with giving his ped. a call...
Do you find that he's shoving his hands in his mouth a lot during the day? Chewing on things?
Have you ever given him Tylenol?
