NC Dog needs a home...
Hopefully I can't get flamed for posting this as I am trying to do a good thing. I am also posting on other websites, including a couple of North Carolina ones. My bil found a dog at his front door last week, called the owner on the tag and to make a long story short, they don't really care. So my bil took in the dog and is looking for a home for this cutie. He has a dog and already promised to adopt another one this weekend so he can't take a third in. The dog he found is named Thumper and is about a year old. He is soooo cute and is great with kids and people. I would keep him, but Snickers is not happy at all. I took him in tonight to try it out. Anyway I know the majority of you are in Long Island as this is your website, but I just wanted to post the story in case any of the NC ladies are interested.

ETA: Just in case anyone thinks I am a meanie with the gate, I temporarily had him in the kitchen with me while I was cooking.

wait you're in NC?
If the dog was in LI, id be really interested. Anthony and I want to adopt a dog for his dad.(his dad has had dogs most of his life and started saying over christmas how he wants one again)

Yes we moved to N.C. in July. I used to be on the Island. I know a few people have moved down here or know people down here so I thought I would post here too!

Winston Salem or Greensboro. My bil and I are both taking care of him.
ETA: The dog is house trained and great with other dogs!

are you still looking for a home for the pooch? i am in durham, and just contacted a bunch of rescuers in the area when i found a stray. i can put you in touch with them if you want - if anything, they may know some people in w-s or greensboro that can help you out.
