How many cycles of Inj/IUI did you do?
Was wondering how many cycles of Inj/IUI you ladies did before moving onto IVF? Just doing my first inj/iui and I feel like I should move right on....like if I am going to stick myslef, might as well up my odds with IVF.

We did three - but they weren't injectables.
Our RE wanted us to stop after the first one, but we wanted to try at least two and then we only did the third one because the lab was closed and we wouldn't have been able to do IVF that month.
I feel like you - if I were doing injectable IUI cycles I would have pushed to go to IVF sooner.

I did 5 or 6 IUIs - one with injectibles...but I should have moved to IVF much earlier, but my dr (at the time) didn't think so, so I switched drs

I did 2 IUI's, with injectables because I dont ovulate on my own. First one worked but ended in a miscarriage.
The 2nd one didnt work at all and it gave me cysts so I had to take a month off.
Going back to the doctor the end of January.

I did about 6 IUI and then one with injectables. I am due to start stimming next week for first IVF

Wow! thank you ladies. DM24angel - if not too personal (just don't answer if it is!!!) can I ask why you did so many IUIs/inj? was it your choice or doctors?
afraid my dr would push for more iuis/inj but I have a big fear of triplets or more with this cycle.....feel it's more controlled with IVF b/c he said he woudl only put 2 back.

8 IUI cycles - one with Clomid, seven with injectibles of which two were cancelled due to hyperstimulation.

I did 5 IUI cycles. 3 with chlomid and 2 with injectables. I got PG on my second round of injectables.

Well mixture of reasons. First being I couldnt afford IVF. ( we finally got the NYS grant and just about covered the cost) ....Also we couldnt determine a true "Reason" why I wasnt getting Pg...and b/c I switched clinics and the new clinc wanted a course of injectable IUIS before IVF , after I had clomid/femara IUIS. Basically we tried every combo of drugs available first.

we did 3 cycles of unmedicated IUI's and 3 with injectables.
Then moved to IVF.
I wish we did it sooner...i wouldnt go anymore than 3 cycles of IUI's.
