Those who had IVF

I am going to Be starting My first IVF cycle And the doctor is leaving it up to us how many we want to put back I guess due to my age! I am ok with the fact I might have Multiples but do not want to many I am a Pediatric ICU nurse and have Seen to many scary things! So i guess my question is how many did you all put back? I know age is A factor. Any help would be appreciated. I might have already asked this question but I am very forgetful lately LOL!!

I put back 2, and have 2 beautiful boys
That is what my RE recommended too, because of my age, and we had good quality embryos.

I put in three--one vanished and I have twins now.
I have quads in my extended family.
I would personally do two-no more then 3.

Because they were very good quality, I put 2 back and got a boy and a girl. My 2 failed cycles I put 3 back and only had one implant which turned into an early M/C. It really depends on the quality of embyro. 2 is safe - 3 is risky if the quality is good. What is your RE recommending?

3-4 because he is not so sure i will produce more then that based on passed IUI's w/injectables but we are doing ICSI and assisted hatching!

my first cycle we put back 2 and neither stuck. then this fet (from the same cycle) we put 2 again and they both stuck!! supposedly the first 2 were of better quality-so who really knows!!!

i did icsi and assisted hatching for all eggs. my doctor didn't want to put more than 2, he felt the risk was too high for triplets.
