I believe you are talking about Hoodia.

I've heard lots of good things about it and I think I might try it. It is supposed to help curb your appetite.

I would think it takes more then 2 days for something to happen.

I ordered some. From the guide I read, I thinkj you need to take it for a little while so your body gets used to it and then you will feel less hungry.

It arrive the day before yesterday. Started it yesterday - didn't really notice a difference.

Today - DEFINITELY noticing a difference. No feeling the need to snack or eat large meals. I am going to try and eat several small meals throughout the day.

Beth - I looked into Desert Burn . I read on several websites that it has been thoroughly tested.

I like it because it doesn't feel like I am taking anything. I just don't feel like I'm craving anything. I'm a big snacker and I FORCED myself to have a snack this afternoon. It is nice to not have the "pangs" in my stomach for a snack.

And its CACTUS !

ETA: You can find it cheaper, I just liked this brand b/c it was so thoroughly researched.

I ordered them from the site earlier last week and they got here on Monday.

Some of the benefits are:

3)10% decrease in the in LDL,triglycerides,and total cholesterol without the use of statins.

4) Adult onset diabetics on oral hypoglycemic agents have noticed an improvement in their blood glucose and less need for medications. Their weight loss response appears to be more dramatic. I feel it is related to the metformin and Desert Burn combination.

5) The other leg of the dreadful Metabolic Syndrome -- Hypertension, has shown a gradual response to the wt. loss program, as expected.

6) 50% of patients demonstrate increase in energy and feeling of well being. Studies at Brown University Medical School, demonstrated that the compound (P57),extracted from pure hoodia gordonii, increases the content of ATP by 50-150% in the hypothalamic neurons of the mid brain. This may send a signal for energy sensing which in turn causes an anorexic response in individuals.

7) 15 % increase in Libido - although this is not it's primary use. Add natural progesterone cream and you might get a 25 % increase. Too early to say and not enough patients. All related to that neuro- modulator, the hypothalamus.

8) Improvement in menstrual irregularities especially in PCOS (polycystic ovaries syndrome). Very useful in the "estrogen dominate" individual with excessive body fat. Soy isoflavone (genestein) natural progesterone and Desert Burn appears to be a great combination.

Me took kathy. I feel like there is no such thing as a "magic pill" I would stay as far away as possible from these things
